The snow has been falling off and on today in Williamsburg. It has been nice to take a break from my work to look outside my office window and watch it come down. No real accumulation but there is something peaceful about watching snow fall from inside a warm home.
I made this image at Niagara Falls a few weeks ago while on a trip with friends to make maple syrup in Upstate New York. It was bitter cold! My wife and I each had a set of chemical hand warmers. I hate working with cloves on so I would put my hands in my coat pockets as often as possible. We were there for about two hours. Sarah and I switched hand warmers several times because mine wouldn’t stay warm because my hands were so cold!
